Griffin FM Transmitter To Convert Apple iPod MP3 Player into an FM Radio - How to Turn My iPod MP3 Player into FM Radio
By The Engineer
Till few days back I personally had no idea that there is something called "iTrip" that can actually convert my Apple iPod MP3 Player into an FM Radio with a simple FM Transmitter. Amazing!
All this while I had been enjoying my Music on my Apple iPod and considered myself lucky to be one of the owners of an Apple iPod (this is still a wish for many people).
It all happened accidentally while I was searching for some good accessory for my iPod mp3 player, I came to learn about the revolutionary "itrip" from Griffin Technology.
Griffin offers two such accessory for iPod MP3 Players - RoadTrip SmartScan and iTrip Auto SmartScan.

Griffin RoadTrip SmartScan and iTrip Auto SmartScan FM Transmitter
Both these products make your music adventure more than satisfactory through an available FM channel. Both RoadTrip and iTrip Auto are loaded with SmartScan that scans for 3 of the clearest available frequencies. Don't be surprised when I say that a cigarette lighter provides power to both these FM-Transmitters and they also charge your iPod. The major differences both are:
The RoadTrip is made of a flexible steel neck that holds your iPod in place so that it doesn't fall down under your seat even by accident (Griffin certainly cares for your money). It also houses custom mount inserts that come with it that is specific to your iPod. The RoadTrip also has a line out jack so you can connect the RoadTrip to your car speakers.
The iTrip, on the other hand, has no mounts and it connects to the iPod via the same port that is used for charging the iPod. It is made up of a simple wire that contains the frequency search and connector.
How to Install RoadTrip and iTrip FM Transmitter
Both these FM-Transmitters come with user-manual and contain the entire step-by-step guide on how to do the installation. If I did not have any problem as such, I am sure nobody will face any problem with the installation. Just follow the stems mentioned in the manual.
Overall we can say that both "RoadTrip" and "iTrip" are masterpieces and offer good value for money. So get a piece of either of these FM-Transmitters and enjoy music on your iPod MP3 Player to the fullest.
